Troy Patterson received a bachelor's degree in English literature in 1996. He was a critic at Entertainment Weekly from 2001 through 2003 where he specialized in writing about books. He currently writes about art and entertainment for many major publications including The New York Times, New York Press, Slate.com, The Boston Globe and the San Francisco Chronicle.
