Dorian Benkoil To Leave mediabistro.com

Editorial director will pursue entrepreneurial opportunities

mediabistro.com announced today that editorial director Dorian Benkoil will leave the company at the end of March to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities through his company, Teeming Media. He may continue in a consultative capacity with mediabistro.com.

Benkoil put his Teeming Media work on hold in January 2006 to join mediabistro.com full-time, and over the past 15 months his efforts have led to higher site traffic, increases in AvantGuild content and paid memberships, thousands of new e-mail subscriptions and the launch of a number of new editorial products and services.

mediabistro.com expects to begin a search for an editor-in-chief immediately.
