Read this for my response: http://writingporch.blogspot.com/ ------ http://writingporch.blogspot.com/ http://jlouiselarson.blogspot.com/ http://familyrootsandwings.blogspot.com/ |
| Canadiana | Posted 2/17/2008 9:06:35 PM | show profile Wow! Unbelievable. Some people have no clue whatsoever. |
| candylilacs | Posted 2/18/2008 1:56:49 PM | show profile The weird part is that I have actually read something online about how you *should* subcontract writing work out to make money. I was kind of turned off by it, but apparently some people think it's fine. They said that it was a way to "do business" but I didn't see how it was being much of a writer. Ah, well, I suppose she can find someone to do it with a weaker currency than here. It makes me wonder how many are on those sites. Probably too many. Thanks for the link! ------ http://www.mswritesguide.blogspot.com |
| dribbledrive1 | Posted 2/18/2008 2:02:38 PM | show profile As a general rule, I find web sites that ask writers to bid for services a waste of time. I don't mind making a proposal to a specific request or negotiating fee once a client expresses interest in me. But I never want to start the process focused on price. --It makes me wonder how many are on those sites. Probably too many.-- |
| writesonwater | Posted 2/20/2008 1:35:58 AM | show profile I completely agree. The thing about this writer is that she advertises that she does this writing for people, but it seems like she's jobbing it out. I would think clients would be turned off by that. |
