No softball questions, just foreign and domestic policy discussed. It was better then watching Paula Abdul have a melt down on American Idol or a contestant falling down on Dancing with the Stars. The interview was cordial, but when O'Reilly says people are entering the "No-Spin Zone", Hillary Clinton sure was not afraid to enter. Hillary was quick minded, tough and explained many of the policies she would implement as President of the United States. Both Hillary and O'Reilly did not back down on to each other. Hillary held her own against one of the most in-depth interviews. There was no 'what is your favorite color' questions, but questions concerning policy, domestic and foreign. For both persons, Hillary Clinton and Bill O'Reilly, it was great TV and one of the best interviews I have seen in a long time. Good job for both, and great Must See TV for everyone...yes even for those who wanted to see Nastasha Bedingfield kiss David Archuleta on American Idol. In fact this was better then watching Obama do the countdown on David Letterman. |

It's the first time I've seen her come across as more than an empty suit... she really seemed to know her stuff, fight O'Reilly when she needed to, and was (somewhat surprisingly) very likeable. Really good stuff... congrats to O'Reilly and Clinton for the great job. |

Must See TV I enjoyed the interview as well, Hillary did a great job of answering Bills rapidfire questions - even though he interrupted her constantly. I noticed that the McCain interview seemed much more laid back. For example the first 5 mins are so were spent letting McCain speak almost uninterrupted (with just a few quick 10 second questions by Bill)...nothing like the Clinton interview at all. |
