Posted – 5/27/2008 8:58:38 PM | show profile I'm considering getting some training in Web publishing and graphics (Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Flash, etc.) to broaden the opportunities available to me. Live training is pretty expensive, but there are also lots of tutorials available on DVD, often from the same companies that offer the classes. I'm pretty handy with computers and think I could pick up these skills pretty easily. Now the question: To the prospective employer, if I didn't learn these skills on the job, does it matter how I learned them, or from whom? Also any advice on what skills are most in demand would be appreciated. Thanks.
