Topic: Fact-checking music reviews?

| matt.goodlett | Posted 7/19/2008 5:43:18 PM | show profile I recently had an internship interview during which I was asked how I would go about fact-checking a music review. I've been doing mainly freelance journalism for newspapers since graduation. I've never fact-checked (which if I understand correctly is often entry-level intern work) and certainly never done so on a music review. I've learned a little more about fact-checking since the interview, but I'm curious what the right answer was. |

You can't fact check opinions, so all that leaves would be checking basic info about the artist or group, like names of band members, where they're based, how many lps. |
