You've got a website and you know how to use it, most of the time. But you know it could be a lot more. How do you do make your site do all the cool things you want it to do when you don't have a tech person, or necessarily want to be a tech person?

This is a fun, (user)friendly workshop for smart people who want to improve their websites. On the first day, you'll learn advanced Photoshop techniques and design concepts. On the second day, you'll cover higher-level Dreamweaver tips and tricks. You'll understand how to lay out complex designs, embed rich media, and master tables. You'll also find out about the many online tools available on the web to create rich media.

By the end of class, you will have:
A website live on the Internet and advanced Photoshop and Dreamweaver skills.

Admission Requirements:
This class is the sequel to the popular Create Your Own Website workshop.  Students must have taken that class or have an equivalent knowledge base. You should be comfortable working on a Mac. However, the lessons are applicable to a PC as well.

Testimonials

I thoroughly enjoyed Duy's Create Your Own Website class and was very excited to walk away with a real sample Web site of my very own. Duy's instruction was very clear. Photoshop and DreamWeaver are now much more accessible to me. The class was a true springboard thanks to Duy's carefully detailed lesson plan. -- S. J. Gluck

"Taking Flash and Create Your Own website prepared me for my new job and allowed me to dive into the world of multimedia as a journalist and beyond. Best of all, Duy's teaching style was relaxed, clear and to the point. I advise everyone and anyone curious about acquiring these tools to get ready to absorb all things innovative." -- Cindy Rodriguez

"Thanks again to Duy for a great class. I used to be intimidated by Dreamweaver and Photoshop, but he demystified them, and now I have my own portfolio site on the Web." -- Russell Smith

"Duy is a terrific teacher and instructor. He was funny, supportive, patient, extremely well-organized, and clearly possessed a mastery of the subject matter. He was the ideal instructor for an inexperienced, technophobic marketing guy like me, and I would definitely take more classes with Duy!" -- Josh Levin, Gallant Films, LLC

"Duy is amazing! He gave me the extra confidence/push I needed to finally put my business together. The class was definitely affordable, and all the information provided was great." -- Patricia Rhinvil, CEO/Founder, 48K Media, LLC

"My 3 hours with Duy were the most valuable hours I have spent yet in developing my business. Duy took us step by step through the process, sharing his own personal business plans, finances, contracts, and mistakes so that we would understand the tangible, non-theoretical parts of starting a business. I would recommend Duy's seminar to anyone who wants to turn their dream into reality." -- Emily Koteff, freelancer

"Duy's seminar was great. He made the process easy to understand and answered all the questions I had. This was the second of Duy's classes I took (the first was Going Solo: How to Start Your Own Media Business), and I would take another." -- Dean Arrindell, associate producer, NBC News

"No need to trek to Columbia University to get up to speed on new media! You'll get a tremendous ROI (return-on-your-investment) if you take Duy's classes at mediabistro. Duy efficiently and effectively demystifies new media by sharing his knowledge -- which is a full college semester course -- in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks Duy!" -- Dolores C. Nolan, RMM, Vice President/Stations Radio Advertising Bureau
