Testimonials

I'd recommend Breaking into Public Radio to anyone looking for an overview of how public radio works and how to get your foot in the door. I think everyone came away with some great tailored suggestions on what to do next. The class was fun and relaxed. -- Shepley Metcalf, director of communications, Pine Street Inn

"Jenn Matson offers budding commentators and media neophytes a number of clear and practical options for breaking into public radio. What I assumed to be a fortress rendered impenetrable due to lack of my own expertise or experience, Jenn very quickly illustrated to be very much the opposite. She made clear that public radio is hungry for new perspectives and voices as well as hands and feet to do the work. Jenn offers an encouraging and empowering view of the way in." -- John Sanders, freelancer

"Jenn Matson did something better than instruct -- she shared her decades of experience in public radio with us, giving us tips she learned by trial and error." -- Christina Gombar, freelancer
