Associate Director, Digital Marketing AnalystCountry: United States of AmericaWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGPurpose:As part of the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, the Associate Director of Digital Data willenable Santander Bank North America’s digital marketing strategy through operationalizing a modern digital data ecosystem, high-performance insights, test-and-learn approaches, and personalized experiences.Santander is seeking an experienced Digital Data leader to join our team, reporting to the Director of Digital Analytics and Insight. We are looking for a leader with an excellent understanding of marketing technologies to support the business, strong analytical acumen, and experience in developing and implementing a digital data roadmap. This person will build strategic partnerships with and provide tactical support to the rest of the marketing and analytics teams, enabling marketing teams with the insights necessary to drive marketing programs. The role is responsible for influencing the development of  MarTech Strategy, including AdTech, by building partnerships with the Marketing, Analytics, and Products team to drive effective campaigns and go-to-market outcomes.The ideal candidate will be a highly influential and effective leader in a fast-moving global organization. ResponsibilityGuide the strategy for digital applications that support Marketing Technology and AdTech. Provide foundational data/analytics capabilities for our Marketing team.Understand data trends and identify future data/MarTech needs while ensuring future-proofingManage digital data and testing infrastructure, including digital marketing operations and cloud-based vendor relationships, to enable the delivery of digital Marketing and Analytics capabilities.Drive customer-centric optimization by continuously gathering insights and pain points from end-users (e.g., product marketers) to shape product group backlog for actionable improvements to MarTech technology products in conjunction with Digital Product Management team(s)Drive standardization of MarTech technology products and centralize/streamline business input and decision-making across products/markets to ensure requirements are met effectively and efficiently; support the adoption of the product, incl. preparing the business for digital releases and key operational impacts (alongside Business Owners and Program Managers)Build bridges between digital and analog marketing mediums, delivering personal and contextual experiences powered by technology and analytics and driving the total experience by engaging the customer, product, partner, and employee experiences.Work cross-functionally to understand business and insights needs, translate those needs into data enablers, and advocate needed changes with leadership, Product, Tech, Marketing teams, and vendors to enable.Define processes to enable accurate data collection of marketing investments across channels and the results they deliver.Develop for scale a foundation for marketing and personalization in the digital assets and beyond that will improve business outcomes and customer experience.Partner with the Business Intelligence team to develop and maintain the stack of enterprise digital reporting, analytic tools, and dashboards, including governancePartner with media teams to provide clear strategic recommendations to drive incremental results for the platform.Partnering cross-functionally to ensure audience and taxonomy are effectively implemented and enabling new reporting/analytics to influence media/marketing strategy.Optimize and drive recommendations across acquisition and lead scoring, lead lifecycle, and conduct follow-up process. Partner closely with Demand Generation, Business Development, and Operations to create a continuous feedback loop and optimize performance.Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a MarTech and or Data Management role2+ Years Experience in any CDP1+ Years Experience in tools with id resolution and audience-sharing capabilitiesCreating and managing digital audiences in data management platforms/customer data platforms;Onboarding solutions (i.e Liveramp, Oracle Datacloud, etc.) and identity management methodology;2+ Year experience managing Adobe Campaign and Adobe Target independentlyHands-on experience managing MarTech ecosystems at scale independentlyHands-on experience with using/developing potential Marketing platforms and technologies (e.g., Adobe, Marketo, etc.)Demonstrated ability to understand financial and business impacts of MarTech/Data Management recommendations and effectively present and garner buy-in for complex ideas across all levels, including senior leadership (Defining goals for technology components and frameworks including reference architectures and implementations for martech/adtech solutions, including, but not limited to data management platforms and customer data platforms)Strong organizational skills, problem-solving, issue resolution, attention to detail, strategic vision, and a curious, entrepreneurial attitudeHigh level of initiative and proven ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of DMP and CDP like Segment, AcqitoinIQ, Salesforce etc..Expert-level knowledge of Google Marketing and Cloud Platforms  or Adobe Experience ManagerExpert level knowledge of Tealium Audience DB or related Tag Management PlatformWorking knowledge of decision engines and personalization use casesDelivery high impact marketing strategies using MTA, MMA, and other attribution algorithms on lead funnelsUnderstanding of schema and data taxonomyProven experience in driving MarTech projects to completion, resulting in a significant business impact on marketingAbility to manage varying priorities, work cooperatively, influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a very fast-paced environmentPositive attitude, strongly motivated, and passion for solid teamwork and cultureExperience on privacy and consent/preference management tool is plusTeam The Data and Analytics Center of Excellence at Santander is focused on utilizing analytics and our petabytes of data assets to understand our customers better, deepen their relationships, and deliver the future of the digital retail banking experience. Our agile teams work with key business leaders and decision-makers to solve problems by provisioning, mining, analyzing, and modeling data to provide insights that drive impact. You will join a close-knit, hands-on team responsible for managing Santander Bank’s digital data collection, syndication, analysis, and reporting from multiple digital properties, including, but not limited to – public websites, mobile applications, private sites, and social media. The team utilizes the digital data collected from multiple sources to build insights into digital traffic and first-party profiles of visitors to enable on-site personalization, funnel and behavioral journey analytics for customer acquisition and customer experience improvement. This team is also responsible for implementing all new digital marketing technologies that utilize digital data or interface with applications or websites.
