KBR is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its fun and highly innovative Global Marketing teamOur small-but-mighty in-house creative team functions like a boutique agency and is responsible for a wide range of deliverables including quarterly publications, storyboards, video graphics, motion assets, sales proposals, web visuals and page design, tradeshow displays, print and digital brochures, logos, signage, advertisements, annual reports, and other marketing and communications materialsThe ideal candidate is creative, passionate about design, collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to grow and learnIn this role, you???ll work closely with members of the Global Marketing team, the LTC program team and client and other internal stakeholders to develop deliverables, from conception to completion, that not only look stunning but that are also strategic and help meet business outcomes
Job Qualifications:
5+ years of applied design experienceUndergraduate degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising or equivalent preferredProficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design softwareExperience creating PowerPoint graphics and presentationsMotion/video-editing skills are a bonus but not requiredKnowledge of layout, graphic design fundamentals, typography, and color theory(HYBRID/REMOTE SCHEDULE) This role requires one to two (1-2) days per week in person at KBR???s corporate office in Houston, TexasOnline portfolio requiredPower BI knowledge and experience is a plusRoles and Responsibilities:Create strategic and original visual content for KBR???s LTC program
Translate conceptual ideas into effective design
Strong eye for detail and visual composition
Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials and special fonts, which are needed for documentation and reference purposes
Ability to work on multiple projects at once with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
Collaborative and team-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
