Professional Experience

I'm an essayist, reporter and travel writer. A recent essay in the New York Times addressed the challenges o raising a bilingual child. As a newspaper reporter, I wrote on everything from homeowner associations taking residents to court over untrimmed hedges to Venezuelans in Miami rallying against Hugo Chavez. More recent essays have focused on bilingualism, the Canary Islands and growing up the daughter of a bigamist. (New York Times.) Clips and work history can be viewed on Contently and Linked-In.
