Professional Experience
My work experience highlights an administrative and interpersonal skill set made unique by its focus on art, culture and new media. I first worked as an Editorial Intern at New York Magazine, proving adept at managing a diverse set of tasks including editing articles for publication, conducting research and interviews (both in person and on the phone), and scheduling appointments for the editorial staff. I’ve contributed freelance articles to New York’s Bedford + Bowery blog and functioned as a contributing food writer for NiftyNYC. My coverage for these blogs has included surveys of Brooklyn nightlife, music listings and openings, and interviews. I have concurrently worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Carol Vernallis, with a focus on music videos, YouTube and digital film. I have worked extensively on two releases for Oxford University Press that she authored and edited.
