Professional Experience

My first book, "Affordable Couture," a guide for savvy shoppers I co-wrote with Jemi Armstrong, will be published in spring pf 2012. An early adaptor, at the dawn of the dot com era, I was the editor in chief of RealSize, an online portal for plus size women. As early as 1998, I was writing about the"post PC and wireless era". The first clients of Makeover Media, a content consulting firm I co-founded in the the late nineties, were VC funded start ups developing proprietary content and applications. I've been an editor and a contributor for specialty fashion consumer and beauty industry trade pubs, an on-air spokesperson and expert in the realm of upscale lifestyle and specialty fashion (plus size, tall, maternity, petite, body types) , including self esteem, health and wellness issues.
