I'm the assistant metro editor at a metro daily, and was previously a reporter covering city hall, general metro news, projects that involved public records requests and data analysis, and much else. At a previous daily job, I was part of a team that won a Pulitzer for breaking news. I have also written for an alt-weekly covering a wide range of urban and lifestyle topics.
