As a UX/UI Designer at Henri, you will play a crucial role in shaping the overall user experience of our platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create designs that are not only functional but also delightful to use. You will be responsible for designing intuitive interfaces, ensuring consistent branding, and enhancing usability across both web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. User Research & Testing: Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, case studies and usability tests to gather insights into user needs, pain points, and behavior. Apply findings to improve design decisions.
  2. Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to visualize design solutions for web and mobile platforms.
  3. UI Design: Design and implement modern, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user interfaces that align with Henri's brand and user needs.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, and other team members) to ensure design feasibility and consistency across the platform.
  5. Design System Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of Henri's design system to ensure consistency in design patterns, components, and visual language.
  6. Usability & Accessibility: Ensure all designs are optimized for usability, accessibility, and responsiveness, offering an inclusive experience for all residents.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to the product's UX/UI.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in designing web and mobile applications.

Skills

  1. Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Whimsical, Sketch, Adobe XD, and/or other design software.
  2. Strong understanding of design systems, responsive designs, accessibility, user-centered design principles and best practices.
  3. Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  4. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development to communicate design ideas effectively with developers.
  5. Understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them to design.
  6. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team environment, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Preferred

  1. Experience designing for the multifamily residential industry and/or resident or property management software.
  2. Knowledge of motion design, animations, or micro-interactions.
  3. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  4. Ability to conduct user research independently.
