Description RESPONSIBILITIES

•Understands food quality and preparation standards and is capable of training staff on and monitoring compliance with company standards for food preparation and kitchen operations

•Is an effective communicator with other members of management and with staff. Has the ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner.

•Is detail-oriented

•Practices teamwork by communicating with and assisting all members of the restaurant team, promoting positive interaction between all team members.

•Adheres to and maintains company policies and standards, complying with uniform standards, appearance and grooming best practices and federal, state and local laws and guidelines concerning alcoholic beverages and food safety.

•Follows all of the company's specifications and procedures to ensure Exceptional Food. Follows all food rotation and re-stocking procedures using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. Follows and uses all food safety procedures and logs.

Requirements High school or college course work / restaurant experience or training is highly-desired. Food safety certification recommended.
