Summary:

As a Graphical Database Engineer you will possess a combination of technical skills, communication skills and pharmaceutical business knowledge. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills and will be able to take oral and written business/systems requirements and develop efficient code to meet deliverables.

ResponsibilitiesHands-on experience with graph databases (Neo4j).Experience Tuning Graph databasesUnderstanding of graph data model paradigms (LPG, RDF) and graph languages (Gremlin & SparQL are optional), hands-on experience with Cypher is required.Solid understanding of graph data modeling, graph schema development, graph data design.

Desirable (Optional) skills:Data ingestion technologies (ETL/ELT), Messaging/Streaming Technologies (AWS SQS, Kinesis/Kafka), Relational and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, EKS, Graph database), API and in-memory technologies.Understanding of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open-source technologies.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or equivalent), version control (Git), orchestration/DAGs tools (AWS Step Functions, Airflow, Luigi, Kubeflow, or equivalent).Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM).Lead migrations to Neo4J.Leading in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environmentDesigning high performing batch programs and adhering to standards and best-practices for developmentPerforms independent functional and technical analysis for major projects supporting several corporate initiatives

QualificationsEight to ten years of experience in database development.Strong hands-on experience with Neo and Cypher.Strong experience Tiger Graph.Expertise in Neo4J.Comprehensive experience with database systems and related softwareMust have a flexible attitude and be comfortable accommodating change
