Annotations Ops is looking for a skilled web developer for a 6-month contract position to help build out a creative, professional, and functional website for the Annotations organization. The ideal candidate is a talented artist with extensive technical expertise who can work independently in the creation of a complex site with experience in building and maintaining websites for clients in a variety of industries. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web services and program applications is essential to succeeding in this contract position.

Objectives of this RoleCreate a professional website that is branded with Client standards, represents our organization and showcases our mission, functions, teams, and resources.Create a visually stunning and friendly user interface, using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating feedback from team members and stakeholders.Create and maintain workflows to provide visibility and to ensure design, layout, and content are consistent and professional.Maintain and deliver on project timelines. Work independently and be proactive in solving any issues or problems that arise.Be available during working hours for communication with stakeholders (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm PST)

Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in web design, multimedia design, or related fieldExperience planning and developing websites across multiple products and organizationsWorking knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design (UI)Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem solvingExperience with the Client brand and style.
