Tire Rack is seeking to grow our design team with the help of a talented graphic designer! This position will work alongside other designers and will have a primary focus on production using Adobe Creative Cloud. Tire Rack's "print design team" goes beyond print. In addition to a variety of catalogs, magazine ads, mailers, handouts, vehicle graphics, logo design and more, this team also creates any PDF that requires InDesign or Illustrator expertise, as well as presentation design using Keynote and PowerPoint. In addition to the work for our retail channel, we also produce content for our wholesale partner dealer groups such as Honda, Subaru, Porsche, and many others.
Responsibilities:Creation of layouts for magazine advertising, catalogs, mailers, and other literature while maintaining established design standards.Exporting and proofing of high-resolution 4C PDFs for prepress, as well as PDFs for digital distribution, web download, or digital forms.Work closely with department leadership to solidify design direction and ensure effective communication through compelling visual solutions.Collaboration with other in-house designers to develop multi-channel promotional artwork.Collaboration with in-house photography team to develop custom features for advertising.Design and maintenance of Keynote and PowerPoint presentations.Graphic creations for retail, dealer or internal use (decals, signage, maps, invitations, etc.)Showcasing a very high attention to detail in proofing your own work, as well as following established workflow processes.Meeting the challenges of daily deadlines while keeping long-term projects on schedule.Qualifications:
High-level working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Mac OS.Strong layout skills, proactive communication skills and superior attention to detail.Ability to manage a diverse workload and multiple deadlines.Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.Minimum 2-year degree in advertising design, computer graphics, or similar.Minimum 1-year related work experience and/or applicable internships.
