This is an onsite role and all candidates must have minimum of 4 years experience.
Ensure that technical and visual information (graphics, tables, videos, thumbnails, and super thumbnails) adhere and conform to established writing, editing, and formatting standards.Coordinate and communicate frequently with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Subject Matter Experts.Conduct independent research using various databases, websites, and repositories.Create, maintain, and update bibliographic material.Collaborate with colleagues and fellow technical writers to ensure consistency through the teams.Provide additional input and draft proposed changes or recommendations to improving writing standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a technical, writing, or other related discipline, plus at least four (4) years of technical writing/editing experience. An Associate's Degree and four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
