The position provides supervision and operational support for our contents restoration projects. Primary job functions include overseeing tasks related to contents manipulation, packing, transporting, cleaning, deodorizing, and storage while ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained. This position will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals. Job duties will be completed both at client sites and at our facility. Project manager will be expected to successfully manage relationships and communications with a variety of internal and external stakeholders throughout each unique project.
Responsibilities
Oversee the inventory, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and pack back of contents while ensuring activities meet quality standardsServe as the point of contact for clients and insurers while reporting to General ManagersResponsible for maintaining our job site safety program and training of new hiresCorrectly wrap, package and inventory contents according to standard operating procedures to prevent damage during transportLoad and transport contents to our facility for cleaning and storagePerform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable conditionAdhere to appearance guidelines while serving as the company's representative at job locationsMust be available to work a Monday through Friday schedule and occasionally after hours and weekendsMust have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practicesQualifications
Ability to properly identify proper product usage and disposal requirements for packing activity as outlined in standard operating procedures and trainingAbility to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz's vehicle policyMust be able to pass a background and drug testClean three year driving history (CDL not required)Maintain a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethicPossess a genuine desire to help others during difficult life eventsSkilled trade, restoration, moving, clearing or insurance industry experience is preferredBilingual candidates and individuals with forklift operating experience are also desiredDesired Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated abilities planning and managing multiple projects. Candidate should also possess problem analysis and problem resolution abilitiesStrong decision making, negotiating and leadership skillsAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writingDetail oriented with excellent organizational skillsComfortable utilizing technology and digital devices as part of regular job responsibilitiesWorking Conditions
Must be able to ride and/or operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis for extended periods of timeAbility to frequent lift an excess of 50 lbs or more and maintain mobility in tight spaces while working indoors and outdoors in a variety of climatesClimb in and out of vehicles and stairsFrequently operates forklifts, power tools and hand toolsContinuously sits, walks, bends, crouches, kneels, climbs, lifts (occasionally above shoulder)
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
