Job Summary
Exquisite Software has a User Experience (UX) Designer opportunity. The ideal candidate for this User Experience (UX) Designer position will be able to conceive and conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. This is a job for a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues.
Responsibilities
Assisting other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)Teaming with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypesWorking closely with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiativesCompleting usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experienceAreas of focus may be content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experienceProducing tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframesUtilize results from user research and workflow analysis to make riveting experiences for users of a product- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experienceStrong skills using design software applications and toolsAttention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirementExperience using Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)Excellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills are a huge plus for this positionAble to use graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative SuiteStrong familiarity with product developmentUI UX And Design experience desiredExpertise in UX/UI DesignA portfolio featuring UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work3+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industryUnderstanding of prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)Requirements
5 years of professional UI design experience (Bachelor's degree preferred)3 years of professional UX design experienceExperience in user research is a bonusA portfolio of outstanding design work on web apps including consumer-facing productsUnderstanding of design systems and modern UI trendsExperience working with Sketch/ InVision, Figma, Adobe Suite, in addition to user flow toolsExperience working in a team that had both UX and UI disciplines; Knowledgeable on the difference between UX and UI, their roles in an Agile development system, and the dynamic contribution of each roleTeam player with strong communication skillsSelf-starter looking to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience in the healthcare domain a plusBenefits
