About The Role

This is a hybrid position located in either Pleasanton, CA or Boulder, CO with at least 50% time in the office. The Workday UI Platform team is looking for an experienced Product Manager to focus on developing, driving, and delivering platform capabilities that power the Workday product portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop and ship capabilities that enable scale and speed to market, increase customer and user satisfaction, and drive product adoption and growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage the product definition and delivery of platform capabilities that power the suite of Workday productsFunction as a central resource with research, design, development, quality and testing as the product(s) move through their lifecycleIdentify and resolve issues that may hinder the team's ability to meet strategic and technical goalsResearch consumer applications, competition, industry trends and technological trendsDrive product requirements and development for features that advance platform objectivesAnalyze data to establish, monitor and measure success metricsPrioritize features, bugs and partner with engineering to manage remediation and release processCollaborate with complex multi-disciplinary teams across all functions of the organization to ensure successful product development and launchDevelop knowledge of Workday’s product offerings and capabilities in the context of the platformAct as the ‘voice of the customer’ (and reason) during product developmentPromote high team morale, excitement and momentum

About You

A product manager who is:

Driven: motivated to craft human-centered experiences (Web/Responsive Mobile) that deliver business valueOrganized: adept at product ownership, scrum, story creationCollaborative: coordinate large-scale projects and teams to get things doneCommunicative: engage effectively with customers and partnersTechnical: work with engineers to navigate technical issues

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of work experience as a Product ManagerPrior experience in successfully delivering user-facing and platform experiencesExperience creating and communicating enterprise software product strategies

Other Qualifications

Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced team that focuses on highly technical areasAbility to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and professionallyExcellent oral and written communication skills—adept at communicating complex concepts to a variety of audiences, including senior leadershipKnowledge of A/B testing and experimentationAbility to think about problems from different perspectivesAbility (and passion for) leveraging data informed analysis to define scalable solutions, develop roadmaps, and drive prioritizationInterest in AI and Machine LearningExperience with Agile or Lean Software DevelopmentBachelor’s degree in technology, business, or equivalent field

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $130,500 USD - $196,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $106,700 USD - $196,000 USD
