About This Role:The

Domestic Marketing Specialist

implements key marketing initiatives for all of Hunter Industries’ brands which includes residential, commercial, and golf irrigation, and golf irrigation, with an emphasis on FX Luminaire lighting. This includes promotional campaigns, customer communications, educational materials, market research and field sales support. Collaborates with sales team and distribution partners to increase collaboration and field adoption of corporate marketing activities.Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of customer satisfaction, innovation, family, and social responsibility.Essential Job Functions/Tasks:Contributes to and delivers successful marketing plans for product launches, events, sales support, including defining objectives, identifying audiences, message mapping, determining an integrated marketing mix, timeline development, budgeting, execution of all deliverables, and success measurements.Collaborates cross-functionally on projects with key stakeholders from across the organization, including product management, sales, market research, and business development teams.Develops and maintains relationships with Hunter’s distribution channel’s corporate marketing teams to increase collaboration and support of corporate marketing activities and the overall promotion of Hunter products within branch locations.Plans, customizes, and executes marketing materials including brochures, product sheets, collateral, web content, trade advertising, call center and video scripts, newsletters, signage, testimonials, and other support tools in response to market requirements.Facilitates electronic communications including social media, email development and bulk broadcast, adhering to regulations and enhancing this communication channel.Works with Creative Development on development and implementation of campaigns, including promotional campaigns and new product campaigns. Coordinates literature production and review. Tracks progress of these projects to ensure pieces are on target with market needs and deadlines are met.Executes direct mail promotional campaigns, including developing cost estimates, postal service requirements and providing information on how to improve campaign effectiveness.Works with field sales team to develop region specific promotions, presentations, and customer training materials.Assists Marketing Programs Manager with promoting customer loyalty program and communicating events and updates pertaining to the program.Facilitates the creation of product specification details with the Product Management team and an outside consultant. Distributes up to date details to various outlets within the irrigation industry to influence the specification of Hunter products.Oversees print and digital advertising initiatives and works with internal and external teams to execute.Promotes online training program with distributor training promotions and overall market training sweepstakes programs.Manages the point-of-purchase store, including maintenance of inventory levels, sourcing new items and assessing items based on feedback from stakeholders.Oversees social media platforms for brands including development of social media calendar, idea generation, and posting.Education/Training Required and Preferred:Bachelor's degree or ten years equivalent education/experience in business or marketing.Experience Required and Preferred:Minimum five years of experience in marketing.What You Bring:Knowledge of marketing, forecasting, budgeting, and ROI analysis.Technical irrigation knowledge as well as knowledge pertaining to professional distribution systems.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and SharePoint applications.Knowledge in marketing practices and technologies including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Drop Box, Survey Monkey, Business Objects Explorer, and Salesforce.Knowledge in corporate communications practices and technologies including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, as well as html email and web design.Strong interpersonal skills: team‐oriented leadership, awareness, and flexibility are required.Problem solving skills: problem analysis, organizational planning, project management, decisiveness and judgment are required.Excellent English verbal and written communication.Personal qualities: work standards, initiative, and personal impact are required.What We Offer:Amazing corporate culture - we walk the walk when it comes to our values!Beautiful 20 acre park like campus with creek and walking trailsOn site wellness center with personal training, fitness classes and massageFUN company events!Annual performance reviews and profit sharing bonusFollow us on LinkedIn, check out our rave reviews on Glassdoor, and learn more about our company culture on our career site:
