Sr. Product Marketing Manager

to join our

Cloud Security

team to drive the product marketing strategy for cloud workload protection area and growing adoption for server and container security.

Cloud Security is one of the newest and fastest growing categories, it refers to the convergence of technologies that customers are using to secure their cloud deployments across public clouds, hybrid infrastructure and SaaS apps. It is a space that is rich in innovation and competitive excitement. This is where Microsoft leads the industry in providing comprehensive security across multi-cloud environments with Microsoft Defender for Cloud solution.

The team charter includes leading product marketing for new, innovative services across the cloud security category and driving thought leadership in market categories including Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWP).

In this role, you will be responsible for driving product marketing for cloud workload protection areas, focused on growing Server and Container protection business under the Microsoft Defender for Cloud portfolio. You get to work with engineering teams to influence product roadmap and to bring innovation to market, tell stories through rich content creation, and keep an eye on strategy looking left to right across field, partner, sales, competition, and engineering for opportunities to optimize the funnel for growth.

Bringing new services and capabilities to market as a marketing launch lead and driving business growthCollaborating with business planning on business model decisions and then bringing those to market including existing projects in this space in process.Influencing engineering on product roadmapIntegration into the broader cloud security storyDelivering the compelling value proposition of the product in messaging and in contentBringing market and compete analysis to influence Go To Market (GTM) plansDeliver core content to help sales and partner readinessOther: Embody our culture and valuesQualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years' experience in businessOR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years' experience in businessOR equivalent experience.Established experience in marketing to business and IT usersExperience in cybersecurity or cloud computingProduct Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
