We currently have an opening for a Foodservice Designer.As a Foodservice Designer on our Operations Planning & Design team, you are responsible for applying technology and techniques to support the efforts for the food service, grocery, and retail clients being served. You will be working as part of a team, as well as independently.You are responsible for ensuring technical accuracy of work in the production of food services construction documents for our clients, through managing other associates. Your responsibilities will include designing and planning services, equipment specification and permitting services for both the building department and health department. You will also create advanced engineering designs when needed and assist team members with solution development. Your primary focus will be championing the use of best practices, adherence to company standards, accuracy of construction documents, and technical discipline coordination.**Minimum Experience*** Bachelors degree in a related technical field or related work experience is necessary* Prior work experience in Foodservice and working on production of construction documents* CFSP accredited or equivalent* Experience working with projects in a variety of client industries such as food service, grocery, or retail industry* Advanced experience with clients - presenting information, creating cooperative problem solving opportunities, leading meetings, etc.* Advanced experience and understanding of food service operations - processes, flow, efficiencies, and capacities* Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to explain results as required* Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office software and CAD software* Understanding of how to read and interpret general shop drawings for development and review* Knowledgeable about impact of design on construction, cost and practicality to clients* General understanding of construction, as well as mechanical and electrical designWhat matters to our associates matters to us and benefits and professional growth are at the top of the list.
