Position ResponsibilitiesManage the estimating process from beginning to end, including timelines, deadlines, and estimating packagesCommunicate with vendors and both internal and external clients to build relationships, define the project scope, address any deficiencies, and negotiate pricingContinuously follow up on all bid projects and accurately forecast future awardsStay up-to-date with current technology trends in low voltage systemsHere's What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of relevant experience in low voltage integration projects, with 2 or more years of technical low voltage estimating experienceKnowledge of residential and commercial low voltage technologies, including WiFi, CCTV, access controls, and structured cabling systemsDemonstrated expertise with products from industry leaders and industry and/or manufacturer training and certifications a plusProven experience with Systems Technologies, including Fire Alarm, DAS, Audio Visual, and Lighting ControlDemonstrated ability interpreting construction documents and bid proposalsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and estimating software (Accubid preferred)Ability to maintain excellent relationships and provide a high level of customer serviceDemonstrate and uphold Power Design's core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growthBenefits and Perks
