The Opportunity:
RS&H is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager for our Transportation group in our St. Charles, IL or Indianapolis, IN office.This role will build upon our alternative project delivery program in the Midwest by leading Design Build projects and providing Owners Representative Program Delivery services for our Midwest region!This position will be responsible for assisting our clients by providing leadership and oversite related to the development and management of their alternative delivery program(s).Responsibilities:Evaluate and develop recommendations regarding design build project targets, risk profiles, and teaming opportunitiesSupport project development through prepositioning, proposal strategy, partnership, and teaming developmentManage design-build project pursuit and execution teams to deliver successful projectsSupport owners alternative delivery programs, governance, practices/procedures, tools, and programmatic development. Provide guidance and support as needed on collaborative project delivery owner advisory workForge and manage relationships with contractors and engineering firms to pursue design-build workProvide risk management, planning and implementation input related to contract reviews and project deliveryProvide guidance and varying levels of involvement and assistance during execution of design-build project workQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum eight years of progressive leadership experience in the alternative project delivery marketProfessional Engineering (PE) certification requiredDesign-Build Institute of America (DBIA) certification is preferredExperience leading Design-Build and/or Owners Representative service projectsExperience leading large multi-discipline teamsSelf-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detailConscientious management of project schedules and budgetsExperience working with DOTs in the Midwest (preferably Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and/or Missouri) on major interstate, interchange, and roadway reconstruction projects#LI-HRPlease note: no agency representation or submissions will be recognized for this vacancy.
