As a result of our steady and sustained growth, we are seeking a motivated

Roadway Design Project Manager

for our Transportation team in Raleigh, NC (hybrid role). In this position, you will play a pivotal role in leading NCDOT and municipal transportation improvement projects, ensuring project excellence from preliminary to final design. This hybrid position offers the perfect blend of collaborative in-office work and the flexibility of working from home.

What you'll be doing:•Serve as the project manager for influential NCDOT and municipal transportation improvement projects, driving them to success with your expert guidance.•Manage project finances, ensuring budgets are adhered to. Oversee project scopes and schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project progression.•Lead the roadway design process from its initial stages to the final design.•Develop comprehensive plan sets, perform detailed quantity estimates, and prepare insightful reports that guide decision-making and project assessment.•Lead proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.•Perform QA/QC tasks.•Provide mentorship to project staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.•A valid driver's license is required, along with the willingness to undertake necessary travel to bring our projects to life.

What you'll need to succeed:

Required Qualifications•Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience•PE license in any state (NC license within six months of start date)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications•Familiarity with NCDOT project delivery•Proficient in project management: scheduling, budgeting, client relations•Broad knowledge of transportation engineering•Experience in municipal transportation projects•Skills in corridor and ORD modeling•Proficiency in MS Office suite and MicroStation
