When it comes to Medical, Safety and Training program management, development, and implementation, Beacon is a proven single source provider.We are seeking a full-time front desk/clinic coordinator in a clinical services role to support both our Occupational Health practices in Anchorage, Alaska.General Summary:The Clinic Coordinator role is responsible for answering multi-phone lines, triaging calls, responding to client emails, scheduling clinic appointments, check-in/out of patients as well as providing quality assurance of electronic patient charts. This position serves as the initial point of contact for external callers. This role will field questions from clients and the general public regarding services, operational hours, etc.Essential Job Functions:This is a client/front desk role that provides administrative and clinical support to clients in a busy, fast paced environment. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to support communicating with our clientele face to face, by email and phone.This position requires intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe and must be able to effectively utilize standard office equipment. Must have experience in occupational health and/or primary care.The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a high-volume medical practice.Characteristic Duties and ResponsibilitiesDisplay a positive attitude.Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.Maintain confidentiality of protected information.Assist in customer relations by providing support to the division.Support special teams and committees by performing administrative support tasks.Assist in ensuring that standards of care, standards of practice, Code of Ethics, and policies and procedures are followed.Assist in monitoring practices to assure compliance with the regulatory agency rules and regulations to assure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.Assist in looking for ways to improve effectiveness by assisting in the implementation of new ideas and more efficient approaches.Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Requirements - Education and Training:High school education required.Intermediate computer skills with prior experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office programs.Physical Demands and Working Conditions:Must be able to sit in front of computer for long periods of timeMust be able to lift 20lbsOffer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam, drug testing (federal panel), background check and motor vehicle report.Required Job Qualifications
