This role is integral to maintaining Tarte.com, TikTok Shops assets as well as paid media for product launches and promotions.Responsibilities:Execute day-to-day designs: high volume of
daily high volume of PDP imagery for tarte.com and TikTok ShopsDesign and resize all artwork/product image updates across tarte.com & TikTok Shops for ongoing seasonal launches and promotionsSiloing & pre-production work for imagery used in promotions and launchesUpdating website regularly along with regular image maintenanceResearch industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely digital innovationSlice and prep weekly editorial features for launchProof and perform QAPresent designs and needs in weekly meetings with cross-functional partnersMaintain impeccable file & template organization in Dropbox. Communicate with team and cross-functional partners as to where assets can be found as neededStrong coordination with Creative, Brand and Digital Marketing teams are a must!Requirements:BFA/BA in Design, Digital DesignExperience as a digital/web designer (coursework, internship, agency or in-house creative department)Beauty or Retail experience on an eCommerce-focused design team, preferredProficient in Adobe CS Suite (strong proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop), After Effects and Figma experience is a bonusMobile-first mentalityUnderstanding of design layout, typography, information hierarchy and slicingStrong photo retouching skills for the ability to replicate across digital mediumsAbility to color-retouch image assets in some instancesAbility to form and maintain relationships among our team and cross-functionallyKeen eye for clean design and ability to execute tactical direction both flawlessly and efficientlyKnowledge of post-production and retouching processAbility to retouch on the flyOrganized files and layers within PSDsAbility to work independently on assignments from concept to completion and execute all steps in between with minimal directionStrong attention to detail and ability to problem solve within design constraintsAbility to function in fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities/projects at the same timeSelf-motivated, passionate about design in general and collaborative approach to workOur Perks:Salary range: $21-25/hr (compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill level, relevant work experience & education)Friendly, fun, creative & collaborative work environment
