Analyze dynamics of client website or mobile app interface, identify issues and problems causing inefficiencies, and recommend changes to improve experience for clients employees or users.Plan and conduct a variety of user research methodologies, including: qualitative usability testing, field studies, benchmarking studies, diary studies, surveys, and interviews. Conduct these research studies in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Write research reports and articles that summarize findings.Analyze users' cognitive limitations and the impact of childhood development stages on user interface designs for young users.Apply knowledge of psychological biases (e.g., confirmation bias, social desirability bias) to design valid research studies.Study the impact of different cultural factors when designing for international or cross-cultural user groups.Utilize understanding of cognitive psychology to anticipate, analyze, and explain the behaviors and perceptions of users.Design user interfaces that support users and work within the limitations of human memory and cognitive abilities.Manage the companys WeChat account (Chinas primary social media network), including planning the posting of articles and videos, as well as translating that content from English into Chinese; plus, handling and replying to followers inquiries, such as our UX conferences and content availability using ChineseWork 100% remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education - US or foreign equivalent Masters Degree in Human Computer Interaction

Additional Requirements

Must be fluent in written and spoken Mandarin ChineseDomestic and international travel required to conferences, user research sites and client locations (approximately 15%)
