Job Description:Perform aircraft inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities during Client duty shiftsPerform routine aircraft standard practices (as defined in company UAS Maintenance Manual) during Client duty shiftsPerform nest equipment inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities during Client duty shiftsReplace company provided nest equipment as required during Client duty shiftsParticipate in Crew BriefsMaintain communications with the company's Pilot-in-Command using company provided equipment during duty shiftsVisually monitor airspace to detect non-company aircraft during VO duty shiftsMonitor air-traffic displays provided by company to detect non-company aircraft during VO duty shiftsMonitor for hazardous weather conditions in the operating area during VO duty shiftsDetect visible obstacles or other hazards to flight during VO duty shiftsVerify location and height of detected obstacles as requested during Ground Support duty shiftsOperate company provided light vehicle (van) for movement between various company operating locations, move aircraft between sites, and recover company aircraftRecover company aircraft that have landed outside the nest area during Ground Support duty shiftsMust be able to work outdoors, conditions can varyMust be willing to help out in other departments when neededRequirements:
Possess a current driver's license.Possess a valid 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Does not need to be current, but must not have been suspended or revoked)Successfully complete required company provided training for Ground Support and Visual Observer roles for company's Part 135 OperationsParticipate in periodic company provided training to maintain relevant skills and knowledgeParticipate in Vendor's FAA drug and alcohol screening program.
