We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer to lead and mature how we launch new products at MongoDB. As a software company, we are constantly releasing new capabilities and offerings across our portfolio. In an industry that’s constantly evolving at a rapid pace––from serverless infrastructure to edge computing to GenAI-powered experiences––development teams are at the forefront of the digital future. In this role, you'll be responsible for building our launch engine, from defining launch tiers and bill of materials templates to supporting major launches and reflecting on what worked or not. As the company grows, we will look to you to evolve our processes, playbooks, and vision to scale the impact of our launches in the market.

As an experienced IC on the Strategy & Operations team, you will help the entire Product Marketing organization by defining launch best practices, managing multi-launch campaigns, and liaising with cross-functional leaders. You will report into a Director of Product Marketing and work closely with category PMMs (aligned to product areas), Product and Marketing Operations teams (from a process and program management perspective), Enablement teams (across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Technical Field), as well as functional leaders in Marketing and Product Management.

Role responsibilities:

Own the New Product Introduction (NPI) playbook and process for bringing new products and features to market, including enabling relevant teams on how to use it and making iterative improvements based on learningsDesign and maintain an internal launch calendar, ensuring visibility and proactive / reactive communications with relevant teams where neededSupport major (Tier 1) launches, especially ones tied to first-party tentpole events, from a strategy and planning perspective in close collaboration with category PMMs and Marketing OperationsDefine and implement best practices for launch tracking and reporting in collaboration with Analytics and Operations teams

Other requirements:

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.
