We are looking for an exceptional product manager to drive growth of our mass flow control product line. This is an exciting opportunity to have a lead role in overseeing a highly successful product line at MKS. Responsibilities will include managing the product roadmap, sales pipeline, and developing new revenue growth opportunities.

Working with MKS sales teams and development engineering teams, the Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new market growth opportunities, proposing optimal solutions from existing products or specifying new configurations when needed. Key activities will include P&L management, optimizing margins, engaging manufacturing and supply chain to meet customer deliveries, evaluating market requirements through voice of customer analysis, defining product roadmap, and ownership of the flow solutions product portfolio from conception through end of life.

This position will involve phone and email communications as well as travel to customer sites. Additional responsibilities include defining, qualifying and documenting special customer product configurations as well as maintenance of customer documentation. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be an integral member of the product development and support teams, and an internal champion to advocate for customer needs in order to build revenue. The role will also include strategic marketing planning and working with the corporate Marcom group for sales collateral, publicity, and web content.

This is a Hybrid position allowing for days in the office in our Andover, MA location as well as days working remotely on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

Focal point and key interface between customers, field sales, marketing, and engineering to enable successful customer integration and design winsAchieve revenue growth and margin goals for product lineTravel to customer sites (with local sales and/or applications staff) to discuss or present application solutions, define integration specifics, present performance data, or coordinate product installation and testingProvide timely responses to customers, both internal and external, for commercial and technical information related to the vacuum isolation valve productsGenerate, review, and price special customer configurations. Assist Sales and Customer Service in providing product quotations to customersContribute to short and long term product development and improvement plans by actively collecting market intelligence related to the new emerging technology and competitive activities, maintaining an awareness of MKS markets, customers, sales opportunities, competitors and productsPrepare, conduct and participate in training and education programs focusing on product capabilities and applicationsDevelop sales tools such as product release packages, applications notes, competitive information, and marketing collateralPrepare and deliver analysis and presentations for internal business management reviews

Requirements:

B.S. in an Engineering or Physical Science. MBA or equivalent product management/P&L management experience preferred5-10 years in technical customer support or applications engineering along with 5-10 years of experience with Semiconductor Deposition or etch tools, Reactive Gas Systems, or vacuum deposition systemsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills for working with customers and in-house MKS personnelExperience, knowledge, or ability to learn vacuum technology, gas handling safety, thermal analysis, and chemistry is requiredMust be able to operate ‘hands-on’ as necessary when working at customer locations, or internal labsExperience working in or supporting a production semiconductor fab is a plus.Proficient in MS office and computer skillsAbility to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally
