Design Center Coordinator, Full Time .

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Promontory has been approved to construct over 1,900 luxury residential properties. Offering a wide range of products from twin home cottages to large semi-custom homes. We focus on high-end luxury residential real estate. The Design Center Coordinator will be responsible for assisting our clients in designing and selecting the finishes for their home, delivering upgrade pricing, and putting together the construction selection package for the construction department to build from.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Design Center Coordinator will schedule with the client, Interior Design firm, and several key trade professionals for an in-person design meeting. They will run all design meetings, take notes of all meetings, ensure the Interior Design firm and trade professionals complete their project tasks, gather/QC upgrade pricing, and put together a construction design package for the construction department to use in the building of the home. They will be the facilitator of all communication to ensure a positive design experience with the client. They will also assist in Change Orders or reselection needs that may come up during the building of the home.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate a 3 or 4 day in-person meeting with clients, interior design firm and key trade personnel for interior and key exterior finishes.Meet with clients directly. Run the in-person meeting and take detailed notes of topics and products discussed.Provide design direction as requested by clients.Be familiar with wide range of products and manufacturers (cabinets, tile, carpet, wood floor, plumbing, bath accessories, appliances, etc).Follow up with clients, interior design Firm, and key trade personnel to summarize client selections, pricing, and pictorials of selections.Perform custom pricing requests directly with trade personnel.Gather, QC, and deliver to clients selection decisions and pricing.Assist in VE (value engineering) of selections as desired by clients.Create mini diagrams and design center paperwork accurately and timely to pass to construction department for use with building the home.Process the official sign off of selections through DocuSign software.Handle all Change Order and reselection paperwork as it arises during the building process and after sign off of selections.Manage multiple clients as the same time delivery proactive and timely service.Adhere to predetermined deadlines for the selection process to ensure construction can progress timely.Maintain communication with internal customers such as construction Project Managers, Purchasing Department, and Management on status, issues, and resolution of client concerns and status.Conduct tile walk at home 4-way status to reaffirm client selections prior to install.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

High School Diploma or GED is preferred; currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a degree in Interior Design is a plus.Two (2) years of related industry experience.General knowledge of building construction practices, means and methods.Basic computer skills and competency in the following, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, Buildertrend softwares.Must havestrong organization skills; must have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail; must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.Patience, empathy and good listening skills.Enthusiastic attitude: desire to ensure process is enjoyable, smooth, and easy for the Buyer.Must be able to handle the challenges related to customer service.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be able to stand, walk and work on feet for multiple hours a day if needed; must be able to lift light loads (product samples) occasionally.Has a valid driver's license and is able to travel to and from the project site.WHY PROMONTORY?

Salary starts at $60,000/yr and will be determined upon employment and be commensurate with experience.
