The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting content in the brand voice as well as developing and implementing communication strategies to promote and enhance our brand presence. The Communications Manager will work closely with internal teams to drive copywriting, create compelling content, engage with media outlets, and effectively communicate key messages to various stakeholders.Responsibilities:Partner with internal teams and external agency to develop and implement communication strategies to optimize brand awareness and sentimentCreate engaging angles and content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels within brand voiceBuild and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure coverageWrite media-friendly pitches and press materials to attract media attentionCraft suite hooks and creative messaging to capture the interest of potential clientsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channelsSupport copywriting and creative communication needs for cross-functional departmentsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fieldMin 4 years proven experience in a communications, editorial or public relations roleStrong writing and editing skills with a creative flair; ability to adopt brand voiceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with media relations and pitching to journalistsKnowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsOur Perks:Salary range: $80-100K (Compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill level, relevant work experience & education)Medical, dental, vision, 401K plan & access to health & wellness programsPaid vacation, holidays, summer Fridays, birthdays off, volunteer time & moreMakeup gratis, employee discount on tarte.com, team give back initiativesFriendly, fun, creative & collaborative work environment
