Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Water / Wastewater Designer / EIT, we'll count on you to:

•Prepare concept designs, preliminary engineering, study-level reports and technical memoranda for water and wastewater treatment facilitie

•Prepare final/detail designs, including design calculations, preparation of drawings and specifications, engineer's opinion of probable construction cost, conduct/facilitate quality control reviews and provide bid phase assistance for various water and wastewater treatment projects under the guidance of a Project Manager/Engineer

•Provide construction phase support, including but not limited to, review of shop drawings and request for information, change order preparation/review, star-up/commissioning support, process performance troubleshooting, etc.

•Assist in preparation of proposals for pursuit of new work

•Perform other duties as the need arise

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering field

•EIT or ability to obtain within 6 calendar months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Water/Wastewater Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression

•Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitie

•AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience

•Microsoft Office experience

•Must be able to work in a team environment

•An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

•MS preferred

•Preference given to local candidate
