Civil/Land Development CADD DesignerCandidate will work full-time in our creative office located in South Plainfield, NJ.Responsibilities:Drafting of commercial/residential site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including but not limited to the following:Geometry plan layoutsUtility Plans & ProfilesGrading & Drainage plans, Profiles and Cross SectionsRoadway Plans, Profiles & Cross SectionsSketches and Exhibits as neededUses special notations and symbols to give instructions on drawingsUse GIS software to obtain required site images and incorporate into project drawingsUse 3rd party applications (Auto-TURN, Photoshop, etc.) to generate drawings based on specific project requirementsNJDOT & NJDEP Permitting PlansWork with Department Managers and Project Engineers to understand:Scope of workScheduleBudgetProject instructions and responsibilitiesComplete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and scheduleReview drawings for completeness and compliance with the original design planCoordinate project requirements with team members and provide assistance when necessary to complete required tasksOrganize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in logical & well structured manner based on instructions from engineersOther duties as assignedQualifications:QUALIFICATIONSAssociates Degree or Technical School Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting/DesignTwo plus years CADD experience in Civil Engineering, Land Development or related projectsStrong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 or newer, including but not limited to the following:Layer management & usageViewport management & usageDrawing scales as they relate to text, dimensions, lines, viewports, etc.Plotting, plot scales & pen tables, etc.Strong ability to multi-taskStrong attention to detail, while maintaining consistent work flowAbility to work with minimal supervision & resolve issues independently as neededAbility to be a team player and interact well with othersStrong organizational and communication skillsIn return, we offer competitive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental and vision benefits, life insurance,a 401(k) with company match and a corporate team environment with opportunity of advancment.Also includes on-site company fitness gym, discounts on housing and home appliances.For immediate consideration, please apply online at
