We are seeking a talented Associate Director of Paid Search (SEM) or a strong Manager to join our growing team. We were recently named to Inc. Magazine's list of Best Workplaces. Therefore, this is a rare opportunity to join a stellar team
Sosemo is an award-winning digital marketing agency that specializes in search marketing, paid social, and media buying. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem solving and client management skills, a firm grasp on marketing fundamentals, prior team management experience, a proven track record of success with relationship building, and be an expert in paid search marketing with working knowledge of paid social and other media.
The Paid Search (SEM) Associate Director will be required to wear many hats and roll up their sleeves often.
Along with a competitive salary (salary range:$95,000 - $117,500), yearly bonus, and benefits, we also offer opportunities for our employees to earn a significant amount of additional compensation by working overtime and earning reward points.
Our office is located at 26 Broadway. In addition to working with a stellar team, our office has beautiful common areas, daily wellness classes, and free coffee/snacks. Please note: our office is following all CDC and state guidelines. ***Fully remote employees outside New York City (located within 1 hour of the Eastern Standard Time Zone) will also be considered and are encouraged to apply***
Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with proposal development for new and existing clientsManage and delegate roles and responsibilities and tasks to a team of 2-3 strategists and associates and maintain high standards for quality workEnsure that the "Sosemo Approach" is followed by the teamFunction as a strategic expert on the team to help guide both clients and the client services teamWork with Operations/Project Management to manage timelines and confirm that all work is delivered in a timely manner levering status reports, hours tracking and project management softwareManage clients and ensure satisfactionConduct keyword research, social listening, analysis/insights/recommendationsConduct inventory assessments and development budget allocation recommendationsStructure and setup campaignsPaid search campaign managementDevelop and optimize adsParticipate in PRC reviews for pharmaceutical clientsManage paid media campaignsDemonstrates value against all initiatives by providing monthly/quarterly metrics reportsResearch and keep up on industry trendsAssist with strategy development and team managementDevelop new marketing services and refine processesQualifications
4-year college degree in marketing, computer science, or related field4-6 years of experience managing paid search campaignsMust have 2-3 years of prior team management experienceMust have Fortune 500 or prior big agency experiencePrior pharmaceutical marketing experiencePassion for digital marketing and entrepreneurshipMust have strong analytical and problem-solving skillsMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust have stellar presentation skills (Virtually & In-Person)Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environmentMust be highly detail-orientedMust have basic knowledge of web technologiesMust have working knowledge of social networking sites, search engines and app storesMust have expert knowledge of paid search engine marketingMust have working knowledge of paid socialMust have leadership qualitiesMust have the ability and desire to train and develop talent
