Specialized is seeking an Art Director to join the Global Brand Design team. We are looking for a multifaceted design leader with an eye for visual details and ability to manage people, projects and productions.

Location:

Global Headquarters, Morgan Hill, CA. Hybrid schedule with three days a week required in office.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Working within Global Brand Design, you will have responsibility of being a leader on the design team, collaborating on, and developing visual strategies and assets including:

Category visual directionArt Direction and production of video and photoshootsArt Direction of product launch assetsDigital campaign directionRetail and in-store campaign directionWebsite experience directionCollaborate with Digital and Social teamsEvent branding and asset directionOut of home and printed advertisementsInternal/external communication designYou will also

Collaborate with external vendors and agenciesManage 1-2 DesignersManage design processes to make sure timely delivery of projectsStrategically deliver against the needs of the businessProvide design support for the larger Global Marketing team and category marketing managersProvide design support for a variety of stakeholders including global markets, e-Commerce team, Sales team, and SBCUABOUT YOU:

Must be hard working, organized, and self-motivatedAre understanding and adaptable to frequently changing deadlines and requestsProduce rapidly with accurate, beautiful and dynamic workProject-manage and prioritize your own work and communicate delays or likely delivery times for creative work to the broader teamPossess strong interpersonal skills: you're a positive team player with excellent communication skills and capacity to work well with a team and as an individualWill take part in Marketing and Product team meetings and communicate requirements for design elements to the broader teamWHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

6+ Years of related professional experience working for a brand or agencyBachelor's degree in related field preferredExperience as an art director concepting and executing brand and campaign workExperience running commercial photoshoots and video shoots on locationExperience managing direct reports, freelancers, and external vendorsHigh level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite--in particular Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoshopExperience working in Figma and MiroExperience working in project management software like Jira and Confluence a plusWork experience in both print and digital mediums, with a strong understanding of branding, marketing, communications and advertisingAbility to identify issues and alternatives and recommend possible solutionsHeightened customer expectation, experience and service awarenessYou must be able to deal with conflict, listen with empathy, review, and follow through to completionSet and exceed expectations clearly with team membersExcellent time management and prioritizing skillsYou are interested in art direction first and foremost but also care about cycling or living a healthy and active lifestyle.Must be able to travel and be on set for photo and video shoots, events, and market research trips.Pay

Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:

California

Base Pay Range: $84,919 - $147,758 annually

At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.
