Role: Developer L2

This role is 100% remote, with team members scattered across the US.

Daily stand ups are at 10am EST.

• Pre-screen consists of 5 video questions, a coding section, and a games section.

This will take approximately 50 minutes to complete.

INTERIVIEW PROCESS:

IMPORTANT: Candidates should select JavaScript as their coding language.

• Interview process: Meet with Hiring Manager and other team members for 1 hour

• 25-25 min discussion on prior work experience

• 20-25 min coding exercise - discussion based

• additional time for question

• This role has an on-call rotation, 1 week with a partner, however it is pretty infrequent.

• Less than every other month. (new person won't be added into rotation for their first 6 months)

• 12 month contract with intention to extend/or convert to FTE

• Ideally this person will start early December

• Must have React experience. Angular Devs without React would not be a good fit.

Project Info:

This Web Developer will be part of the Core Team, the backbone of native and web apps. They use data such as when and how a customer will shop that will then filter through the customers entire experience - Which products will appear in app, prices based on location, coupons, savings, timeslots available for pickup/delivery, etc. This team may not always be front and center on new things being built, and their work is a small piece on UI, but they have a huge impact. The team is focused on quality to ensure things go out bug free so that other teams aren't negatively impacted.

Description:

• 7+ years developing Websites/Web Apps

• 7+ years Javascript experience (typescript experience a plus)

• 5+ years React experience is a MUST

• A solid understanding of mobile application development processes, from the layout/user interface to backend systems and API integrations

• Ability to interact well in a team environment

• Participate in the application technical design process.

• Develop programming specifications. Design, code and unit test application code using SDLC best practices.

• Complete estimates and work plan as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks.

• Create technical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout all phases of the SDLC.

• Communicate timely status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure that assignment releases are managed appropriately and that completed assignments are of the highest quality.

• Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies.

• Provide support for applications, including involvement with the Support Center, NOC, Infrastructure teams, and vendors as appropriate.

• Build partnerships across the application, business and infrastructure teams.
