Help maintain a culture of fast iteration and practical problem solvingOwn the VFX rendering pipeline and toolsWork with the VFX team to get the most out of the system and implement new solutions to enable them to push the bar higherEvolve iteratively existing systems into state of the art solutionsDesign and implement new and existing rendering related techniquesImplement innovative solutions to feature requests, taking account performance, maintainability and appropriate resource usage, creating stunning industry defining visualsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze technical constraints and establish solutionsMentor other engineers, help engineer team to solve the technical problemsRequirements:Minimum 5 years' experience in video game development, Unreal engine experience is a plusStrong understanding graphic technologies, experiences with physical simulation will be a plusThorough understanding of modern GPU architecture, such as PC / PS / XBOXExperience with DX12, Vulkan or other modern graphics or compute APIsExperience with HLSL/GLSL or other equivalent Shader languagesDeep understanding of performance considerations, with ability to design and implement well performance systems/featuresProven ability to debug defects of a reasonable complexity, including memory related issues, multi-threading, and assembly level debuggingGood communication skills that support an open and enthusiastic working environmentSelf-driven with a strong sense of qualityPreferred:
Experience working on AAA gamesShipped a title on PC and/or Consoles

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $150,000 to $275,500 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
