Key Responsibilities:As a Local SEO Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
Properly launches, executes, and maintains all Local SEO campaigns for our clients
Creates and optimizes Google My Business listings
Gathers and analyzes competitor intelligence
Understands the client's short and long term company goals and develops, implements, and collaborates Local SEO strategy to meet those goals
Ensures all of the clients have an accurate, comprehensive, and complete online footprint
Defines most important Local SEO KPIs
Partners with content marketing to identify geographic keywords to attract local customers and ensure the development of high-quality, optimized local content for the website
Identifies critical client/account issues and escalates them to appropriate executives in a timely manner
Keeping up with the SEO (national and local) and AI industry through blogs, publishers, competitive research, etc. and regularly sharing thought leadership
Communicates SEO strategies and goals to internal teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Proven experience in Local SEO role
Knowledge experience in local SEO or local SEO listings management
Strong knowledge of Local SEO best practices, Google My Business, GBP API and experience managing and optimizing local listings
Familiarity with Local SEO principles for landing pages, reviews, ratings, and citations management
Experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Experience with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysis (Semrush, Ahrefs, etc)
Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
A strong portfolio showcasing your previous work and achievements in Local SEO.
