Position Summary:
Adjunct Online faculty plan, prepare and deliver quality instruction to students by utilizing approved course curriculum and instructional methods that accommodate multiple learning styles. This position is a remote position and courses are delivered primarily in an asynchronous format.
Position Responsibilities:
Facilitate organized, engaging classes based on course objectives and course curriculumAssess student learning using appropriate methodsMonitor and evaluate student progress; provide feedback and advising to students regarding progressEffectively resolves student concerns or complaintsParticipate in new student orientation, graduation and other campus events, as appropriateParticipate in professional development activities to maintain currency in the field and with instructional and educational practices and methodsOther duties as requiredEducation:
Bachelor’s degree or higher required; master’s degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of four years’ work experience in web design and/or developmentExperience utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud requiredFront end web development or UX experience highly desirablePrior online teaching experience highly desirable
