Security Analyst (Azure, Microsoft AD, Healthcare Focus)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSImplementing, upgrading, administering, and monitoring enterprise network and Cybersecurity solutions for the protection of computer networks, hardware, applications and information such as Azure cloud services and Microsoft AD in a healthcare environment.Monitor network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity and respond to security breaches.Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA.Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive written information enterprise security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.Lead and manage security audit initiatives and coordinate with external audit entities as required.Manage and coordinate incident response (IR) activities, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.Provide training and support to staff on security best practices, compliance requirements, and incident response protocols.Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen the overall security posture and ensure alignment with security policies and compliance standards.Provide on-call after hours, weekend and holiday support, as assigned.Other duties as assigned.JOB

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent work experience.Proficiency in Azure and Microsoft AD.Experience in healthcare IT security and in-depth knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Demonstrated experience in incident response management and security policy development.Familiarity with conducting IT security audits and compliance checks.Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, particularly during security incidents.Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and information.Ability to demonstrate and uphold InterMed's ValuesFlexibility and willingness to work as a team member.Flexible and adaptable to changing activities, schedules, and workloads.

Ability to meet the department's on-call requirements, including availability after hours, weekends holidays, as needed, with the ability to provide an initial response within 30 minutes and be within 60 miles driving distance of the facility
