Position Summary

Samsung Ads is an intuitive audience platform that delivers meaningful experiences reaching the right audience across Smart TV, mobile and desktop. With more than 50M Smart TVs and 200M connected devices, and the largest first party data set powered by ACR, we help marketers reach targets and enhance experiences that span digital landscapes. The business has grown 10x since 2015.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will lead development of video ad experiences on our free ad supported streaming service (Samsung TV Plus). You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build and design complex features across multiple system, as well as coordinating the development efforts to ensure project successful delivery.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, the development, and the launch of new ad units, while concurrently supporting enhancements/improvements to existing ad solutions
  • Write product requirement specification, system requirement and user stories for internal team and external partners.
  • Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule.
  • Act as product and technical lead on projects. Manage product delivery and coordinate development efforts across multiple organizations and system.
  • Support system integration test and feature QA
  • Up to date understanding of solutions from competitive Ad supported Streaming services.
  • Communicate product strategy, architecture, plans and progress to stakeholders.


Skills And Qualifications

  • 3+ years as solution architect or technical product manager with 4+ years of experience in digital advertising
  • Experience of Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) services, including related technologies: Server-Side Ad Insertion, HLS, SCTE-35, VAST, Open-RTB, SSP, DSP
  • Experience working in with internal and external partners in an agile environment.
  • Experience with Java script and HTML5 Application
  • Track record for designing and delivering complex products across multiple systems
  • Passion for building and learning about ad tech solution in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment


CALIFORNIA ONLY

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $140,000 and $170,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
