The Marketing Manager will collaborate with the VP of Operations, and the branch managers, serving as the key lead to support and increase the Credit Union's competitive position, consistent with its' mission and strategic plan within markets served, including Spanish speaking markets. The Marketing Manager will develop, plan, direct and coordinate tactical objectives, policies and programs for marketing activities of the Credit Union; to support short-term and long-term growth in identified markets, and cultivate business development creating plans that will ensure revenue targets are achieved. The Marketing Manager will manage third-party marketing vendors. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for expanding our online presence, monitoring social media channels, engaging with followers, and analyzing social media metrics to improve performance. Travel to branch locations is required, with the position being based in the main branch in Freeport. Pay commensurate with experience. 1. Responsible for developing the marketing and sales planning, including an analysis of competitive products/services and promotions, selling techniques, legislation, budgets, pricing and distribution, in coordination with and supporting individual branch business plans. 2. Manage social media channels, monitor social media conversations, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms. 3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social media content is aligned with the credit union's marketing and branding strategies. 4. Coordinates special events; monitors planning, schedules and implementation as required for proper execution of each event. 5. Coordinates the annual meeting, including production of reports, facilities, and meeting logistics. 6. Develops, proposes, gains acceptance for, and implements strategic plans designed to meet the Credit Union's short- and long-term marketing objectives, analyzing and measuring effectiveness of each marketing even 7. Works with sponsor group(s); promotes Credit Union to employees and works with sponsor to maintain a positive relationship. 8. Conducts market research and recommends product/service modifications or improvements to attract targeted SEGs (Select Employee Groups). 9. Manages member complaint/grievance response activity. Skills & Requirements Experience Five to ten years of similar or related experience. Experience with social media and digital marketing. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Creative thinking to develop engaging content that resonates with members and potential members. Able to think outside of the box and create content that stands out in a crowded digital landscape. Education (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Interpersonal Skills Work involves motivating and influencing other leaders to accomplish key organizational objectives. External contacts are vital, not only for the success of the position, but the success of the organization overall. Work involves making material presentations to the Board of Directors, community leaders, and business leaders.
