Required Skills: Design Program Manager Responsibilities: 1. Identify and drive company-level product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, difficult or competing deadlines, multiple dependencies and many moving parts 2. Influence the appropriate stakeholders and lobby for new ideas 3. Prioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions and communicate strategically for self and others 4. Identify, define and manage multi-team strategic initiatives that build capacity to extend impact, often driving best practices for the discipline 5. Own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives and establish clear next steps and owners while resolving blocks that impede progress Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teams 6. Sought out as a respected expert to the product team and a trusted leader across the company, mentoring and sharing expertise with team members. Communicate persuasively to motivate the right audience and ensure communication loops are established to get buy-in and feedback 7. Proactively problem solve, delegate and distribute information effectively 8. Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively, continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoption 9. Scale programs and initiatives beyond organization and delegate effectively with clear expectations 10. Source and manage operational budgets, vendor relationships and contracts Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 11. Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management or related experience 12. Experience in talent management and working with HR/Recruiting to retain and foster a healthy ecosystem for the DPM and Design disciplines 13. Experience proactively handling complexity and navigating ambiguity with creative teams on large scale 0 to 1 projects from concept to execution 14. Experience as key stakeholder working with product leaders to define teams or programs from roadmapping through delivery 15. Experience working directly with cross-functional leaders and building programs for product designers, user experience researchers and content designers 16. Track record of operating and influencing independently and without oversight 17. Experience leading product or business strategy in a fast-paced environment 18. Experience managing vendors and contractors 19.
