Position Overview

Studio-15 is an affordable housing community compromised of 275 units, in San Diego, CA. The Community Manager is responsible, under the supervision of the Regional Manager, for all operations at the community, including, but not limited to, general administration, maintenance, directing on-site personnel, and managing resources to ensure a stabilized fiscal operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise all community team membersComplete weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reportsMaintain accurate resident files in compliance with established management produces and funding agency regulationsProcess applicants and lease units by following the guidelines of the Resident Selection CriteriaMaintain relationships with local government agencies, such as HUD, TAC, etc.Conduct regular follow-up inspections on maintenance work, grounds and common areasCollect rents and handle delinquent accountsRequired Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in property managementExperience with supervising staff membersExperience with Tax CreditExperience with Section 8/42Fair/Supportive HousingExperience with managing periodic inspections (such as HUD, TCAC and City inspections).Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the general computer skillsDetail-orientedYardi SystemsReliable transportationValid California driver's licenseProof of auto insurancePreferred Qualifications:

Bilingual fluency in Spanish and EnglishYardi program experienceGeneral knowledge of fair housing, 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulationsCertified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO)- Section 8 onlySpecialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM)- Section 42 onlyRegistered Apartment Manager (RAM) CertificationFair Housing Coordinator (FHC) CertificationCompensation:
